I am happy to share some good news with you. We have received our Certification from the Archdiocese to reopen St. Peter Church. We are certified for both Phase 1, and Phase 1A. This means that we can allow parishioners to make a visit to Church (limit ten at a time), we can hear Confessions, have Funeral Masses (limit ten people), Weddings (ten people), and Baptisms (again, ten people). At this time only our front doors and the door to the elevator will be open. Signs are on the doors with the hours we will be open. For your information, Confessions will beon Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. The Church will be open for private prayer on:
Saturdays - 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Sundays - 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (due to recorded Mass at 9:00 a.m.)
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesdays - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (due to recorded Mass at 9:00 a.m.)
I know many of you may be anxious to make a visit, but please remember that we can only
have ten people at a time in the church. Also, please remember that the church is not open for reception of Holy Communion or Mass at this time. We are allowed to have Mass only for Weddings and Funerals (again, limit ten people). Please note that to allow for proper cleaning, we must close the church doors at the posted times.
I want to thank all of you for your great patience during this stressful time. It is my hope that St. Bede Church will be open for visits soon, and that we will be able to enter Phase 2 quickly.
