I have taught preschool for 11 years, 10 of which were at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Peter School. I have taught, aided, and substituted in classrooms in Alabama, Indiana, and here in Illinois. I have three adult children that my husband and I enjoy visiting. I am happy to be part of the St. Bede School community!

I have been teaching Kindergarten at St. Bede for five years. I feel blessed to teach in a Catholic school and feel the community and Church atmosphere. Another one of my favorite things is sharing the love of books and reading with the little ones, and the laughter that comes with it.

I’ve been teaching first grade for five years here at St. Bede School. My other experiences in the education field include teaching middle school science for one year and teaching third grade for 4.5 years at SFX, being a teaching assistant, working in daycare, and substitute teaching as well.

This is my 5th year here at St. Bede School, and my 25th year teaching. I feel blessed to be teaching here and love being part of the St. Bede Parish family. Second grade is very special to me as I am part of the First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation for my students.

This school year marks my 23rd year as a classroom teacher. This is my 5th year as the 4th Grade teacher at St. Bede School. I am excited to work with a new batch of wonderful students. I have nearly 20 years of experience teaching in schools for the Archdiocese of Chicago, and I am excited to help our students grow in their faith while they learn throughout the school year.

I have been teaching at St. Bede School for 6 years and love my students and school community. I am very passionate about education and have been teaching third grade for 16 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education K-9 and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

I am so happy to be teaching at St. Bede School! This year will be my 30th year teaching, 26 years at St. Bede and this will be my first year teaching Social Studies! I love history, so this will be fun! I love working with kids, visiting friends, and watching college football.

This year is my eleventh as a full-time teacher at St. Bede. I am currently the Math teacher for all middle school grades (6th - 8th). I am also the Religion teacher for 7th grade and 8th grade, and the Social Studies teacher for 7th grade. I earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.

I received my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education with a Middle School endorsement and English from Knox College. I taught Writing for one year then I moved to Palombi Middle School where I taught ELA for 14 years. During my tenure at Palombi I was able to obtain a Master's Degree in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University and my endorsement in Gifted Education as well as a Master's of Education in Reading awarding me a license as a Reading Specialist K-12. St. Peter's Church is where I grew up strengthening my faith. I am happy to have returned to OLL Parish to inspire and educate scholars.

This is my seventh year here at St. Bede School and Parish and I have over 35 years of digital technology experience. I’m passionate about learning and teaching technologies that make people’s lives better. I grew up in Crystal Lake, IL. I have four children and seven grandchildren. I enjoy swimming, fishing, ice skating, and going to live outdoor summer music concerts. I studied IT Management at Lewis University. I love working with YOUR child and am excited to partner with YOU in your child’s education.

The 23-24 school year marks my 19th year in education and my first year at St. Bede and I am excited to work with the students, staff, parents, and community this coming year! I received my Bachelors of Arts in Secondary English Education; Minor in Spanish from Purdue University in Indiana and my Masters of Science in Communications from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. I have endorsements in Curriculum & Instruction and am currently enrolled in a second Master's Program for Educational Leadership. I've spent most of my professional career teaching 6-8th grade ELA, and the last three years as an Instructional Coach supporting teachers with curriculum, best practices, engagement strategies, and data-driven instruction.
